| NOW HIRING Veterinary Technician and/or Salesperson in Bellmore, NY Job posted June 16, 2009: We are a professional retail pet store in search of an intelligent, responsible and well-qualified person to add to our staff. The position is for an experienced Veterinary Technician and/or Salesperson. The job responsibilites of the Veterinary Technician will include: Taking care of the puppies ie: Administering vaccinations & dewormings, thoroughly examining the puppies on a daily basis, assuring the progressive health and development of the puppies through proper caretaking, feeding and handling. Other responsibilites will include: Sales of the Puppies, Customer Service, Trouble-shooting, and general supervision of the business, its customers and its animals. The compensation will consist of annual salary, plus performance based bonuses on a weekly and annual basis. The salary will be based on experience and skill-level. Although we are willing to train the right person, we would strongly prefer that applicants have prior experience within the Pet Industry, Veterinary Industry and/or Retail Sales arena. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is smart, reliable and diligent. Our ideal candidate will have all of these characteristics along with a very strong work-ethic which will add to the success of our wonderful establishment. This is a 40 hour work week with some weekends being a must. Salary 20,000 - 50,000 per year depending on experience. |
